10 AM – Daily Melees:
The first scenario will be a bridge battle. Fight for control of three small-ish bridges. The team controlling two of three bridge at the end of the time wins. The second scenario will be something I’m calling a “Brigands’ Road”. The two teams will be split up unevenly. The smaller team will have no weapons restrictions. Their goal is to escort their leader from one end of the road to the other. The other team will have slightly more people, but will be restricted to 6 foot and under weapons. Their goal is to stop the other team from reaching the goal. We will run this a few times to make sure everyone who wants to can try either side.
The second will be something more ‘fun’ according to HL Melchor’s twisted mind! He reserves the right to modify these as he see fit if others aren’t having fun with them, since that’s why we’re all here.
1 PM – Random Melee Tourney:
Random 3 man teams each round, every person on the winning team gets a point

3 PM- Novice Tournament:
A tournament open to all unbelted rattan fighters with no AOA/GOA fighting level awards that have not won a novice tournament before. Tournament will be standard swiss pairings or round robin depending on attendance with a prize going to the overall victor.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Ring Tourneys, Hotspur Style:
A series of Ring style tournaments, with points earned thru wins and weapon swaps. Winner is high score for the day.

10 AM – Daily Melees:
The first scenario will be a town battle. Holding the buildings at undisclosed time checks earns your team points. Most points at the end of time wins. Our second scenario will be the looting after the town battle. Loot will be scattered across the buildings. Your goal is to put as much loot in your team’s loot chest (a marked spot on the ground) by the end of the time. You may steal from the other team, if you can get to their loot chest.

1 PM – Order of the Rose Tournament
All Roses are encouraged to invite:
1 Rattan Combatant and 1 Cut and Thrust Combatant (ranked or unranked, your choice)
Each tournament will have a separate list tree, with the Rattan and Cut & Thrust fights interspersed.
These are both double elimination tournaments. All bouts best 2 out of 3.
Rose in any Medium Arts and Sciences display will be set up next to the Tournament field
Roses! Bring all your Pageantry! Ask a voice herald to call you in to the field, and announce your combatants, create favors for your fighters to wear, bring your entourage to hold your banners.
Let us be as big and fancy as we can manage! (not required)

After the Melees – Viking Raid
Combatants must be in viking age armor and clothing. Loot required to participate, equivalent to the fighters station. Questions about appropriate gear can be directed to Sir Konall Bosull.
After Dark – Saturday Night Service Showdown
This tournament is to celebrate all those that have offered their time and effort to support Chilies. If you have in any fashion offered a type of service during Chilies you are allowed to sponsor one rattan fighter per day of service offered.
In our efforts to offer a bit of silliness we are pulling out all the bells and whistles!
This tournament will not be the standard cut and dry tourney….we are going all Pro Wrasslin! (for you Old Guys think Friday Night Fights at Diamond Wars!)
This will be a ‘Lighted’ Tournament (light source TBD) and will start a half hour after the sun goes down.
All sponsored combatants are encouraged to enter the list field in true WWE style!
Special (list legal) weapons are encouraged but not required.
Tournament style will be determined via a random draw from a hat after the list tree has been completed.
We will have guest MC’s to add a bit more levity!

The first scenario will be field battles. Fight to the last person. We’ll run several of these to make sure people get enough fighting in. Our second scenario will be a bar room brawl. You must be checked for weapons before entering the bar. You can bring in anything list legal that doesn’t resemble a traditional weapon onto the field, at the marshals’ discretion. If you think you can smuggle a sword or knife in under your armor, you are welcome to try! Silly ‘weapons’ like mugs of beer or chairs are encouraged!

Each combatant fights all three of Loki children:
Hel – sword and shield
Jörmungandr – spear

It’s back! And this time we know what we’re doing! 4th Company presents: The Fighter Support Tourney! Bring your best weapon, bring a gift, and bring your friends! If you have participated in fighter support suh as List Ministering, Voice Heralding, Soup Kitchen, and Water Bearing, choose a champion to fight for you! Monday of the Chilies event we will have a REVERSE WARLORD with randomized teams, melees galore, confusing trees, and fun for all! Fighters!! Bring a gift to give after the tournament to a sponsor OTHER THAN your own! This is the same style as the Lilies Tourney this past summer, and if you have any questions please come to Selene with them! Looking forward to seeing you there as we close out War Season at home!
