Bearpit Tournament

A classic “king-of-the-hill” style tournament. After each bout the winning fighter will stay on the field and fight the next combattant. The fighter who wins the most fights at the end of the time limit wins the tournament. Double kills result in both fighters losing.

Two-Hander Tournament

Fighters may only use two-handed weapons in this tournament. Rigid hand protection is required for all fighters. Some loaner equipment will be available. Tourney format will depend on the number of combattants.

Melee Games

Fighters will take part in various melee scenarios. The specific scenarios will depend on the number of fighters. These may include capture the flag, escort the VIP, last person standing, etc.

Rose Tournament

The Calontir Order of the Rose invite all Roses to the Order of the Rose Rattan and Cut & Thrust tournament. All Roses are encouraged to invite: 1 Rattan Combatant and 1 Cut and Thrust Combatant (ranked or unranked, your choice) Each tournament will have a separate list tree, with the Rattan and Cut & Thrust fights interspersed. These are both double elimination tournaments. All bouts best 2 out of 3.

Youth Sponsor Tourney

All fighters will be sponsored by a youth. Standard double elim, hopefully alternating C&T and Rattan rounds. Sponsored by Albrecht von Trier

Butcher Tourney

Can you slice off the right cut of meat? At the beginning of each round, fighters will draw lots to determine a secret target. They only lose if they are struck in that location. The tournament will follow a round-robin or bear-pit style depending on numbers.
